Dan Wright

Dan Wright of Waldron is serving his second term as president of the Arkansas Farm Bureau. He is the 12th person to serve as president of the organization in its 90-year history. Wright was first elected to the ArFB Board of Directors in 2014 and served as secretary/treasurer for four years before being elected president. 

He serves as a member of the American Farm Bureau Board of Directors, the board of the Southern Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Company and the Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company. He also serves on the American Farm Bureau Trade Advisory Committee. 

Wright serves as a member of the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission. 

He is a fourth-generation farmer who raises poultry and grows hay. He served as president of Scott County Farm Bureau for 10 years, while also serving as a member of his county executive committee and a member of the poultry division. 

He and his wife, Belinda, have a son and daughter as well as six grandchildren
